Career opportunities

Northumbria Probation Trust employs around 650 staff. Over half are involved in direct work with offenders, with other staff working in roles such as research and development, quality improvement and evaluation, finance, admin and HR.

Many of our employees come from different careers and bring essential skills and experience to the probation service. We also run comprehensive training programmes for all our staff to further develop a range of professional skills.
