An area popular with cyclists, joggers and walkers, has unfortunately
become a target for graffiti artists and underage drinkers. Offenders on
Community Payback will transform the underpass meaning a cleaner,
brighter and safer area for all.
The walls of the pavilion are covered with graffiti and rubbish,
including smashed glass, which needs to be removed. Offenders will work
unpaid to make the area more appealing and safer for use by the whole
community.
Used daily by many commuters, the bridge is covered in graffiti and
littered with glass and debris. Offenders will repaint the bridge and
clear the area, offering commuters peace of mind during their journey.
This footpath will be used by children walking to a new school.
Offenders will make it safe and pleasant, clearing rubbish and removing
items which have been dumped. The council is also installing new
lighting.
The area needs clearing of litter, waste and debris. Offenders will work to provide a safer environment, improve the appearance and carry out general maintenance such as painting the fences.
