Northumbria Probation Trust is part of the National Offender Management Service (NOMS), a key agency within the Ministry of Justice.

	National Offender Management Service (NOMS) The probation service together with the prison services forms the National Offender Management Service (NOMS), which was created in 2004 following a Number 10, Treasury and Home Office review of correctional services.
